This year I’m extremely thankful for my health. Thankful that God placed people along my path that planted small seeds that changed my life. I’m so grateful I’m not where I used to be. Last Thanksgiving, I was watching everyone else enjoy yummy food and family, while I watched in excruciating pain from my tonsillectomy. Life is too precious not to enjoy it. I’m so happy this year, I’m almost 100% back to myself and on the road to a full recovery. Blessed to have amazing friends and family that have supported me and still support me. I’m beyond grateful to have this little man, who will now only let me take one picture, if I’m lucky lol. I’m grateful for all my amazing clients. I have met so many amazing people and created long lasting friendships. I appreciate all of you so much! I am on my way to enjoy family, friends, and amazing food.. and yes I’m overloading this year since I missed out last year 🤫

✌🏼 Months post-explant!
A little update for you guys...
I’ve had so many messages asking how my health is doing after explant. Well I’m going to keep it as real as I can. I
had so many symptoms leave the moment I woke up from surgery. I also had some symptoms get worse. Today, two months post explant, I’m feeling pretty good. I would say about 80% of my symptoms are gone. When I woke up from surgery I felt like I had a horrible sinus infection. My sinuses and my post nasal drip were two of my first symptoms I noticed a couple years ago and after surgery seemed 10 times worse. After doing lots of research, working closely with a Nutritionist and Naturopath Doctor, I knew my gut issues were probably going to take some time to heal. Infectious bacteria that’s been destroying the inside of my body for 9 years isn’t going to go away overnight. I was praying it would, but that’s not realistic thinking. This entire process has given me a new outlook on life. I can honestly say I love my new/old body. The only regret I have is that I didn’t do the explant surgery sooner. They say recovery from explant surgery alone takes 8 weeks. Full recovery from symptoms can take a year or longer. If this is how I feel two months after surgery, I can’t wait to see how I feel in a year. Some of my closest friends have told me how much happier I seem and how I don’t look so tired and sick anymore. The last time I went to the beach, which was a couple weeks before my surgery, I felt so nauseous, tired, drained, and now I actually enjoyed myself and felt great! I also get through each day with NO coffee! Uhh that alone is a miracle!
The FDA just announced for implant manufactures to place black-box warnings on the product labels. That’s a big deal! Like I said before, do your research. I constantly think about what permanent damage I have inside my body now and I wish I would’ve known about BII sooner. I can’t go back in time, all I can do is move forward and make healthy changes for myself and my son. Today, I joined @A21 and people all around the world to raise awareness and promote the fight against slavery. Slavery still exists. Human trafficking is REAL and It’s time for everyone to stand up and fight. This is happening in our country, in our home towns, it’s happening everywhere! Only 1% of victims are rescued... GUYS!! 1% 😔 I can’t speak for you, but for me this is not ok and things must change.
Today I was privileged to walk in a silent protest with people from all over the world, with some of my best friends. We walked for the voiceless. We walked for the powerless. We walked to help those hurting. We walked to help those suffering. We walked to make a change. We walked for FREEDOM! We are all deserving of it!
God has blessed me with resources, like a voice, to change things. I truly feel God has equipped all of us with special gifts and those gifts are meant to help others. So please help me in this fight, help me spread awareness.

I made it! Day 4 post op. 🙌🏻
I want to thank everyone who reached out with prayers, positive encouragement, and for my family and friends who have been by my side through this entire process. I have been so blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. I love you all so much! ❤️
There is only one good reason why I’m sharing my experience, that’s to hopefully help someone who isn’t well and might not have connected the dots yet.
I was overwhelmed with how many women messaged me after my first post. So many women have never heard of BII and are experiencing symptoms. Other women supporting me because their on the same journey. This is my personal experience, I understand if you don’t agree or support me posting about it. That’s totally fine and I will not be offended if you don’t. These post are not for everyone. Post like this are what helped me when I connected the dots and I would love to help other women do the same.
SURGERY UPDATE:
Before surgery I had a list of symptoms. It’s only been four days, but I have already seen improvements in my health. My eyes are bright white! Every morning for the last year I would wake up and felt like I was hit by a truck. My eyes were always red and puffy, no matter how much sleep I got. The last four days I’ve had white bright eyes, my complexion is different, my skin feels oily not dry. Two weeks before surgery my legs itched so bad I thought I had a million bug bites, but since Thursday I haven’t itched at all. My joint pain is gone and the nerve pain I was having in my hand is gone! I have also lost a total of 8 pounds. I felt so inflamed months before surgery. Each day that goes by I feel more inflammation leave my body. I haven’t taken any pain meds the past 3 days. Recovery is going so well.
Today my drains came out and I got to see my results. I was so nervous going into this appointment. Surprisingly, my results are amazing! I couldn’t be happier. I chose an amazing surgeon and he did a fantastic job!
It feels AMAZING to be natural ME again.
I have absolutely NO regrets. I know it’s going to be a long process. I can feel my body detoxing... continued in comments 👇🏻

Warning ⚠️ Personal Post!
Yesterday my sister treated me to a day at the spa. We had massages, chocolate covered strawberries, fancy drinks, and amazing sister time. It was an amazing day and exactly what I needed this week.
Thursday morning I’ll be having my implants that I’ve had for 9 years removed... and no not replaced. 🙆🏻‍♀️
I’ve been dealing with random symptoms for the past two years. I’ve had every test taken, seen many specialist, had my tonsils removed, and the cause to my symptoms are still undetermined. I first learned about BII (Breast Implant Illness) 9 months ago when one my of friends shared her symptoms and a site that was created that now has over 90,000 women who have joined with similar issues. I have no idea if this is going to cure me, but I am confident removing a foreign object will only help my body and whatever it’s going through.
This surgery isn’t going to be easy. The surgery is about 3+ hours long, my pec muscle will be repaired, I’ll have drains, my body will need at least 3-6 weeks to recover. I’m a massage therapist y’all!! this is going to take me completely out of work for the entire 3-6 weeks. 😭
I really didn’t want to share this on social media, but I feel like God has placed it on my heart to do so. I have prayed everyday for God to use me to help other women, I just didn’t expect it to be like this. I have already helped so many women who are experiencing the same issues and who had no idea about BII. If this can help at least one more, I think it will be worth it.
The last six months have been the worst and have prevented me from doing so many things I love. 😞 I have felt like I’ve had something slowly killing me for the last two years and I’m praying this is the root cause. There’s only one way to find out. 🥴
For those who love their implants and don’t have symptoms, awesome! No judgment here. If you have implants and are experiencing health issues you can always reach out to me, I would love to help and share my symptoms and the research I’ve done. One area that is often left untreated🙆🏻‍♀️

Your masseter muscle is your primary chewing muscle-not the only one, but the main one. This muscle is one of the most common locations for trigger points. This muscle clenches your jaw and grinds your teeth 😬 Eeek! If over-tightened or clenched, the masseter muscle can cause many different complications.

I was in a car accident back in June and my jaw hasn’t been the same since. Some symptoms I’ve been dealing with are

▪️Ear popping
▪️Soreness
▪️Vertigo
This treatment has seemed to do wonders for my lingering issues. I also had one of my favorites @jcurt_bodywork come teach me how to do Myofascial Release inside the mouth. 😳 it was amazing 🙌🏻

Yesterday I attended an event with some of my beautiful Wholeness Journey women. Ember, who has such a beautiful soul hosted this event with her amazing spa staff. Your masseter muscle is your primary chewing muscle-not the only one, but the main one. This muscle is one of the most common locations for trigger points. This muscle clenches your jaw and grinds your teeth 😬 Eeek! If over-tightened or clenched, the masseter muscle can cause many different complications.

I was in a car accident back in June and my jaw hasn’t been the same since. Some symptoms I’ve been dealing with are

▪️Ear popping
▪️Soreness
▪️Vertigo
This treatment has seemed to do wonders for my lingering issues. I also had one of my favorites @jcurt_bodywork come teach me how to do Myofascial Release inside the mouth. 😳 it was amazing 🙌🏻
